This is your brain on food, a podcast episode diving into how we’re wired to eat.
When I “went paleo” in 2010, one of the first people I started following was Robb Wolf.
I dove into his blog, read his first book, and began listening to his Paleo Solution podcast. It’s safe to say that Robb’s writing has had a huge influence on me, both as a nutritionist and a regular ol’ person.
Robb’s science-meets-pragmatism attitude and ability to not take this stuff too seriously really appealed to me.
So you can imagine my delight when I later found out that my then boyfriend (now husband) was a good internet pal of Robb’s…and the day they finally met in person in 2016 was very cool to witness.
When Robb got in touch about coming on Harder to Kill Radio, it was a no brainer.
His new book, Wired to Eat: Turn Of Cravings, Rewire Your Appetite for Weight Loss, and Determine the Foods That Work for You, drops on March 21.
When you pre-order, you’ll earn these rad bonuses:
- 30 Day Reset Guide
- Blood Work and You MP3
- Bonus Chapter: Lies, Damn Lies, and Statistics
- and more!
This is one of my favorite parts from the book:
And for me, the highlight of Wired to Eat is Robb’s 7-Day Carb Test.
It’s really the key for folks trying to dial in their carb intake and discover which carbs are best for their metabolic health.
In This Episode of Harder to Kill Radio, We Cover:
- what Robb’s been up to since releasing The Paleo Solution.
- how Wired to Eat is different from his first book.
- why we need to be careful of finding a “healthy relationship with food.”
- why Wired to Eat is more than just a paleo prescription.
- the other factors needed for optimal health.
- …and a lot more.
