Iced Coconut Coffee is a refreshing coffee-based drink that’ll make any hot day a little cooler.
How to Make Iced Coconut Coffee
It’s really so simple.
You’ll simply blend coconut water, brewed coffee, and cream or coconut milk.
The coconut water gives it a bit of sweetness without going overboard.
I like mine served straight up over ice. A fun metal straw makes it even better.
If using coconut milk and serving this cold, I recommend combining the ingredients in a blender to smooth out the lumps.
What to Substitute Instead of Coconut Milk
If you can’t have coconut milk or you don’t like the texture or flavor, there are lots of options you can use instead. If you’re feeling really fancy, you can make your own coconut milk. It’s so much more delicious than what comes in the can.
Heavy cream is my first choice because it adds richness, but you may not be able to have dairy.
Other healthy options would be some kind of homemade nut milk. Store bought nut milk would work in a pinch, but it tends not to taste as good as homemade.
Iced Coconut Coffee Recipe (Dairy-Free)
Iced Coconut Coffee is the perfect dairy-free coffee treat on a hot day. Coconut water adds a little sweetness and a touch of electrolytes!
- 6 oz coffee cold brew is best
- 6 oz coconut water
- 2 oz coconut milk or heavy cream
Combine all ingredients in a two tall glasses. Add ice if desired.
