Now, let’s meet this week’s guest…
About Sarah:
Sarah Fragoso is a mom to three boys, a wife (she and her husband and co-own a gym together, JS Strength and Conditioning, in Chico, CA), and a national best selling author of several books about paleo nutrition.
“Paleo”, however, does not define her. Not even one tiny bit. It’s just a chapter of her life – and a great jumping off point for folks not wanting to die from eating crap, lack of sleep, and letting stress rule their lives.
She founded the Everyday Paleo website several years ago, but this blog is about her and her thoughts about life, food, fitness, spirituality, love, and whatever she feels compelled to share at the moemnt. You’ll find recipes to nourish your body and hopefully advice and ramblings to nourish your soul.
As she gets older, she realizes that every year she’s redefined, and every moment shapes and molds her into something that I never thought she could be. (And sometimes in ways she doesn’t want to be, and often in ways she wishes she was before; but that’s what makes her…her.
Her biggest goal in life is to leave a mark. She wants people to be happier, and she wants to be happier too, so she’s exploring how to stay sane in this crazy world while working hard to be a bright shining light despite the dark. Let’s figure this out together.

I LOVED this episode. Well, I love pretty much every episode. But I’ve been thinking a lot lately about the topic of self care. Sometimes I feel guilty when I’m doing something for myself. A long bath, reading a book for a few hours, or cooking just for ME (not the blog). I’ve been trying to get over that guilt and take care of myself better. This episode hit home for that!
I’m really happy it hit home, Chelsea. And I’ve love to chat more with you privately (email me if you want!) about the change of direction you’re feeling pulled to.
And I know what you mean….cook a meal just for ourselves…no photographing, primping, or writing anything down?! Imagine that 😉
This gives me so much hope and inspiration that I will too get to that mindset. My life just got fucking messy, and my worled turned upside down. But through my therapy and help I’ll be able to be ok, not fixing and worrying about everyone else’s emotions all the time. I’m learning to be me. All of it! Thank you, right on time
I have a feeling you’re going to be more than okay, Katie. Wishing you comfort and clarity <3 Thanks for being here. xo S
