Now, let’s meet this week’s guest…
Inspired by a tragic loss, Raj decided to completely change direction in his life. His passion is helping people find gratitude, contentment, and solace in a simple cup of coffee.
We talk about…
- the importance of gratitude,
- how to build your own gratitude practice,
- staying grounded in the fast-paced world of social media,
- why his company focuses on “slow coffee”,
- the near-fatal business mistake that he overcame,
- and so much more.
Raj Jana was just like millions of other young graduates. Drowning in student debt, he was ambitious, itching to climb the corporate ladder, and ready to make a name for himself. So he did what was expected… worked his tail off, clocked in long hours, and constantly chased the next promotion.
Then out of the blue, Jerry died – just three months before retiring.
Jerry was one of Raj’s first mentors and his untimely death was a big wake-up call. Jerry had been living for retirement. He couldn’t wait to have all the time in the world to enjoy his real passion – woodturning. But that time never came.
This experience made Raj realize how many people (including himself) were pushing off the things that made them happy on the idea that they can enjoy them at a later date. It made him realize how WRONG this mindset was…
And it motivated him to do something about it. Tune into a very inspiring podcast with Raj, and I guarantee it’ll have you looking for unique and simple ways to stay grounded in your own life.
Thanks for Listening…You’re Rad
