How do you listen to a podcast?

Podcasts are a type of streaming audio, like radio without the radio station.

There are generally two ways to listen to a podcast:

  1. Find the podcast on a podcast app or streaming service. Popular apps include Apple Podcasts, Spotify and Stitcher.
  2. Listen directly from someone’s website by clicking on an embedded player. For example, the Fuel Your Strength Podcast is published to the blog on this website. If you click on each episode, you’ll see a play bar at the top of the post.

WHAT DOES SUBSCRIBING TO A PODCAST MEAN?

Think about subscribing to a magazine. Every month, a new issue shows up at your door.

With a podcast, when you subscribe, you tell the app you want to hear new episodes from that show.

Every time a new episode is released, it automatically shows up in the podcast app you’re using as long as you’re subscribed. Convenient!

HOW TO SUBSCRIBE, RATE & REVIEW IN APPLE PODCASTS

1. Go to the Fuel Your Strength page in Apple Podcasts.

Or, in Apple Podcasts, type “Fuel Your Strength Podcast” into the search bar.

2. Click the Subscribe button underneath the show art.

3. Click on Ratings and Reviews.
