Ingredients

  • 1 ripe plantain
  • 1 tbsp ghee or coconut oil
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • Sea salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Peel the plantain and slice into ¼” rounds. I like to cut mine on the bias (diagonal).
  2. Heat a cast iron skillet over medium-high and add the ghee or coconut oil. Fry the plantains until golden brown, 2-3 minutes each side. Be careful because they’ll burn easily.

  3. Remove from the heat and dust with cinnamon and a sprinkle of sea salt.
