Chocolate Mint Marshmallows Recipe

This Chocolate Mint Marshmallows Recipe is quite easy if you have a little bit of attention to detail and you like homemade projects.

Ingredients

For 1 batch Urban Poser basic marshmallows (modified):

  • 2.5 tbsp gelatin
  • 3/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt

To flavor these marshmallows:

  • 1 tsp mint extract start with 1/2 tsp then increase from there
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder for dusting

Instructions

  1. Prepare an 8″ x 8″ glass or metal dish by lining it with parchment paper. Sprinkle the bottom with cocoa powder.

  3. When you make the marshmallow, add the peppermint extract just at the end along with the vanilla extract. The minty flavor of different extracts can vary, so start with less than 1 tsp and go up from there.
  4. Spread the marshmallow in the pan and let cure for at least 4 hours…overnight is best.
  5. When you cut the marshmallow, dip the cut sides in extra cocoa powder.
